Swiss women's 15-a-side rugby team

The national 15-a-side women's team is under the overall control of Veronika Muehlhofer. The team manager is Carol Ernst. Frederique Meyer has responsibility for Women's Rugby within the FSR Committee. The women's 15-a-side squad was formed during the 2009/2010 season and has been recognized by the FSR and has then organised its first training session in the Autumn of 2009. The team participated on the 3/4 of April 2010 in the 22nd Ghent Easter Tournament in Belgium. In its first appearance at international level, it won the tournament with extremely encouraging performances. For the immediate future, the team's main objective is to become involved in the FIRA-AER cycle of European competitions and to achieve good results there.
