National Technical Department

Carlos Verdes is the National Technical Director (NTD) and Development Officer (DO) of the FSR.

His responsibilities are:

• Establishing the strategic plan for Swiss Rugby
• Establishing the schedule of the national teams
• Establishing the budget of the national teams and of development
• Appointing coaches of national teams
• FIRA training in Switzerland

The management of the national teams comprises:

• 15-a-side Seniors: Philippe Filiatre, Andrew MacKenzie and Carter Croft
• 7-a-side Seniors: Marcel Vernhes and Allan Cant
• 15-a-side Women: Veronika Muhlhofer
• 7-a-side Women: Frédérique Meyer and Petra Tretter
• Under 20s: Luca Madonna, Andrew MacKenzie and Carter Croft
• Under 18s: vacant
• Under 16s: Serge Mabboux and Hughes Steyner
