Rugby is a contact sport in which individuals must combine with others to mould themselves into a group that wins; a sport where everyone may flourish regardless of physical size; a sport which develops the talents and skills to succeed jointly with others, a sport which is based on the values of cooperation, of respect and of diversity and solidarity, a sport where our young people can forge the essential values for the society of the future.
It is because rugby is rich in all of these qualities that it is of fundamental importance to ensure its development in the Canton of Geneva, by making it known to and appreciated by the greatest possible number of people. The support of everyone, without which all individual actions on the ground are doomed to failure, will enable us to convert the try.
