President of the FSR

The President of the FSR is elected by the Delegates Assembly. He directs the Management Committee, to which the Meeting has delegated responsibility for the management and organisation of the FSR.

The President of the FSR is responsible for :

  • Chairing the Delegates Meetings (at least twice per year), the Management Committee Meetings (approximately every month) and those of the Central Committee (at least 4 times per year)
  • Officially representing the Management Committee at national and international meetings as well as during the FIRA-AER meetings and those of the IRB
  • Being actively involved in the development and promotional strategy of Swiss rugby
