Swiss Super Seven - Invitation to the 2nd stage in Lugano on 17.04.2010

Dear rugby people,

After the success of the first stage held on the 24.10.2009 in Zürich, Rugby Lugano has the honour to organize the second stage of the national rugby's 7 championship at our own pitch.

The tournament will be played on Saturday the 17th April 2010 at the Sport centre of Capriasca (10 km far from Lugano) where Rugby Lugano usually plays.

With this letter we would like to invite your team to take part in this event.

It doesn't matter if you didn't take part to the first stage: the Swiss Rugby Federation allows your team to participate in any case. Naturally, the points valid for the National Championship will be assigned only to the team that took part at the first stage.

The tournament will have the following program:

The round robin and the exact program of the tournament will be defined only when the number of teams is acquired. The organization will accept maximum 12 teams. Every team will play at least 4 matches. Every Club can enter a second team if the organization will not reach enough number of teams.

Because of the distance of Ticino from the rest of the Switzerland, we are organising the possibility to sleep in nearby Capriasca, Friday 16th and/or Saturday 17th April, so that you can take part to the tournament without many problems.

To cover the tournaments costs, the organization will ask CHF 100.- per team. The cost for the night sleeping will be defined when we provided it (in every case not more than CHF 20.- per person per night).

In attachment, you can find the application form. We ask you to complete it in every part and to send it BEFORE the 25th March 2010. After this date we cannot accept any application, even if it comes from a team that took part to the first stage.
