Switzerland-Lithuania cancelled!
The Fédération Suisse de Rugby and Rugby Football Club Basel regret to inform you that the rugby international Switzerland vs. Lithuania, scheduled for Saturday 17 April 2010 (Kick-off 3 p.m.), has been cancelled. Reason for the cancellation is the cloud of ashes that spread over Northern Europe after a volcanic eruption. It prevented the Lithuanian team to depart from Riga today (16 April) after the airport and the airspace over Northern Europe had been closed. The FSR and the RFC Basel are now trying, together with the Lithuanian Rugby Union (LRF), to find a new date for this European Nations Cup qualifier (group 3A.)
